BomberMine is a multiplayer online game inspired by Bomberman, featuring customizable settings that allow each match to feel unique.

Tasks

Gameplay Programming

I implemented core gameplay systems, including player death logic and round-based win and loss conditions. I also refined match flow by fixing edge cases related to victory conditions, ensuring a smooth and consistent gameplay experience from start to finish.

Combat Systems & Mechanics

I worked on key combat mechanics, particularly around the bomb system in a multiplayer context. This included handling interactions such as player death, shield power-ups, and ensuring consistent behavior across clients. I also integrated explosion sound effects to enhance feedback and immersion.

Multiplayer Networking

I contributed to stabilizing and improving multiplayer synchronization. This involved fixing issues related to client-side spawning (floor tiles and blocks) and ensuring that critical events, like player death, were correctly replicated and visible across the network.

Bug Fixing & Optimization

I resolved several gameplay and visual bugs, including issues with object destruction after death and inconsistencies in visual feedback such as color states. These fixes improved both the reliability and clarity of the gameplay experience.

Build & Integration

I prepared the project for builds and integrated background music into the game, contributing to a more polished and complete final product.
