Unreal Island – Gameplay & Systems Prototype
Unreal Island is a final project developed for a Game Prototyping course, designed as a technical playground to explore Unreal Engine 5 systems. Built around a custom landscape, the project integrates dynamic tools including procedural foliage, water system, Chaos Destruction, and a full day-night cycle. Key Features: Procedural Foliage for terrain vegetation Chaos Destruction (destructible cubes & statue) Cloth Simulation with a dynamic flag Motion Matching for realistic character animation Water System for interactive lakes and shores Dynamic Day-Night Cycle to test lighting and atmosphere Technologies: Unreal Engine 5 – Chaos, Niagara, Landscape, Water, Animation Blueprint, lighting
